Objective
Redesign logo for a plant nursery in France and create souvenirs for nursery’s gift shop.
Font Testing
I experimented with different fonts to get the effect I wanted. The original logo was a script font, so I played around with a few different scripts as well as a stencil-like serif font.
Updated Logo
For the heading, I ultimately chose Lust Script Fine with a 1 pt stroke added.
I adjusted some of the serifs as well to make the logo more aesthetically appealing.
For the subheading I chose Fields Display Medium, which nicely complements Lust Script.
(The orchids in the background are just for show and not part of the new logo.)
What items to focus on?
When creating the gift shop souvenirs, I decided to focus on stationery items.
I'm a bit of a stationery fanatic myself, so I wanted to create items that I myself would use.
My main vice in gifts shops are notebooks & journals, pictured below. I also made some other items, like postcards, pencils, etc.
I chose to create two alternatives for the design to have a bit of variety.

Gift Bags
A gift shop is not complete without gift bags, so I created some mockups of the LOMV-branded shopping bags the purchases will be placed in.
